Fitness Center Interior Design

On Air is a fitness center interior design project developed for the first Spanish location of the French gym franchise in Valencia. Designed as an immersive and energetic experience, the project combines sport, music, and interior design to redefine the atmosphere of a contemporary fitness space.

Valencia, a city strongly connected to wellness and active lifestyles, became the ideal setting for On Air’s expansion into Spain. The objective was not only to open a new gym, but to create a fitness experience capable of transmitting the brand’s identity through architecture, movement, and atmosphere.

INSAYN approached the project by preserving the essence of the On Air brand while introducing a more creative, dynamic, and immersive spatial identity. The concept focused on enhancing the existing visual language of the franchise through geometry, lighting, circulation, and experiential design details.

Shapes, contrasts, and custom-designed corners were integrated throughout the fitness center to create visual rhythm and reinforce the energetic identity of the space. Every intervention was carefully designed to maintain coherence with the brand while elevating the customer experience inside the gym.

Music also became a fundamental element of the project. INSAYN designed a dedicated DJ area conceived as one of the visual focal points of the fitness center, transforming the gym environment into a more interactive and emotionally engaging experience. The integration of live music and performance elements reinforces the social and immersive dimension of the space.

The layout of the gym was organized to support both functionality and atmosphere, creating areas adapted to training, movement, social interaction, and motivation. Lighting compositions, material choices, and architectural details were carefully selected to stimulate energy while maintaining fluidity throughout the space.

The result is a contemporary fitness center where design and experience become part of the workout itself.
