Contemporary Apartment Interior Design

Delikait is a contemporary apartment interior design project located in Barcelona, inspired by movement, elegance, and the emotional energy of the sea. Conceived for a young client passionate about kitesurfing, summer, and refined living, the apartment reflects a lifestyle deeply connected to freedom, sensation, and design.

From the beginning, the concept behind the project was to create a balance between sophistication and the raw energy of surfing culture. Waves, sunlight, sand, and fluidity became the visual foundation of the apartment interior, translated through curves, materials, textures, and bold color compositions.

The entire apartment layout was redesigned to create openness and continuity between spaces. The social area was fully opened into one connected living environment, directly linked to the main terrace of the apartment. This new distribution enhances natural light, circulation, and the overall sense of amplitude throughout the space.

Several hidden design solutions were integrated to maintain visual purity and functionality. A full bathroom accessible from the common area is discreetly concealed behind a wooden panel wall, preserving privacy while reinforcing the minimalist and architectural identity of the project.

The main suite opens onto a second terrace with views over Tibidabo and includes custom-designed storage hidden behind the headboard, as well as a double shower conceived as part of the immersive living experience of the apartment.

Additional bedrooms and a dedicated office area were positioned within a more private section of the home, allowing a clear separation between leisure, social life, and work.

Geometry plays a fundamental role throughout the project. Curved lines, layered materials, and expressive colors were used to recreate the movement and energy of waves directly within the architecture and furniture of the apartment. These details bring rhythm and personality into the space while maintaining a contemporary and elegant atmosphere.

Delikait reflects INSAYN’s approach to contemporary apartment interior design: open living spaces designed to feel emotional, artistic, and deeply connected to everyday experience. The result is an apartment conceived not only as a home, but as an immersive environment where architecture, lifestyle, and creativity coexist naturally.
