Minimalist Apartment Interior

A-v.cado is a minimalist apartment interior project created for a young couple designing their very first home in Barcelona. Conceived as a vibrant yet elegant living space, the project combines minimalism, warmth, and playful design details to reflect the personality and lifestyle of its owners — including their dog, Rio.

More than simply designing an apartment, INSAYN approached the project as the creation of a personal universe where every detail could express energy, comfort, and individuality while maintaining a clean and contemporary atmosphere.

The interior design process focused heavily on understanding the identity, routines, and emotional connection the clients wanted to develop with their home. The result is a space that feels bright, functional, and expressive without becoming visually overloaded.

A major part of the project involved optimizing the apartment layout in order to create fluid circulation, maximize functionality, and adapt every area to the couple’s daily life. Each square meter was carefully studied to balance openness, practicality, and visual harmony throughout the interior.

Minimalist lines and clean architectural compositions were combined with subtle contrasts, vibrant accents, and geometric details to bring rhythm and personality into the apartment. INSAYN played with frames, shapes, and color highlights to naturally emphasize specific areas of the home while preserving an elegant and uncluttered atmosphere.

Storage solutions, organization, and functionality were integrated discreetly into the project to maintain the simplicity of the interior design while improving everyday comfort and usability.

The apartment’s color palette combines soft neutral tones with touches of vivid color inspired by freshness, vitality, and Mediterranean energy. This contrast between calm minimalism and playful details became one of the defining characteristics of the project.
